See the naked lady lily
Whose fair bloom is so passing rare
It comes but once in four years time
Today the bloom had blossomed there
Long were the years it was looked for
With a patience and eager mirth
But before the lily blossomed
The life that looked passed on from earth
See the naked lady lily
Whose fair bloom is so passing rare
It bloomed for her who waited long
Now in the Valley Lily’s care

This is the best thing to remember my Grandma by. I can’t thank you enough for it. You honored her and the family by writing this in memory of her. Thank you!!!
I was looking at your website, and I was wondering about your last sentence in the last refrain….”Now in the Valley Lily’s care…” who was posessive? Just wondering for sure. Great poem, the Presence of Spring was really super good too! Keep writing, I am impressed that you are so deep and emotional with your words.
