Marketing Genius

I have to blog this. Sarah from www.creativeslips.net has won a site design award from www.client-success.com. Aparently this company gives these website awards away to well designed sites. From the looks of it, they’ve been doing it for several years. Personally, I find this practice a stroke of pure marketing genius. What better way to introduce yourself to progressive online web people than to offer them an award. You stroke their ego, you stand a reasonably high chance of getting a link back to your own website, and you let them know who you are. Your google rank goes up, goodwill towards your comapany goes up, and you present yourself as a company who knows good webdesign. *grin*
