Whenever I hear about fathers who have lost young daughters I think of my own daughter and what that must feel like. I only realize I couldn’t imagine it.
I didn’t realize someone would take this as autobiographical. I appreciate your words, but I’m not married and have no children. This fragment is a part of a larger piece I’m working on for my aunt, who lost a little girl just after birth, 30+ years ago.
