3am from Kyoto has got to be the best photoblog I’ve run across in years. He has a fresh style, a rich and saturated point of view. He shoots a lot of landscape, some macro, portraiture and other stuff as well. Check him out!

This is a composite of four images, taken at night of the Saint Louis Art Museum from the bottom of the Grand Basin. The exposures were about 20 seconds long and I used an aperture of about f/11 or f/8 for maximum sharpness and depth of field. The Art Museum was the only lasting structure built for the 1904 World Fair in Saint Louis. It was designed by Cass Gilbert in the Beaux-Art style.
This panorama was created using Autostich, free stitching software that I’ve found to be the best stitching software out there.

FreeDMG does drag and drop disk imaging on the fly. I’m not sure why I need this, but it seems really cool and relevant for some reason.

The African Lion is the only big cat that lives in social groups. They eat just about anything they can catch and kill. I saw a Pride of lions while in Africa several months ago. Beautiful animals.
I hate being pulled in several different directions. hate. it. I hate not being able to take advantage of emotional energy to solve problems and overcome challenges and accomplish tasks because I don’t know which challenges, which problems and which tasks to do first. I hate the fact that I usually do know which ones to do first, but don’t want to do them because, though they have highest priority, they do not hold the most value to me. I can’t move, can’t accomplish, can’t resolve this problem.

I forgot all about it, but yesterday was my 21st spiritual birthday, and incidently, my older brothers as well. I was 6.5 years old when I found salvation. I would write more, but this would go on for pages. :)

Farther Steps explains why paedocommunion is heresy. I’ll give you a hint, it has to do with drawing a distinction between the new and old covenants.
Oh Autumn, sweet mistress of the rain I feel thy gentle touch upon my face The delicate brush of wind, A lightly scented perfume On the fog that lies like a blanket on the trees Oh Autumn, bittersweet is thy name Bearing love I cannot satiate The promise of comfort within A golden arbor in a wooded glen Dark and rich with color in its olden age Oh Autumn, give to me thy rest as the setting sun falls below the earth I seek the solace of a quiet winter The warmth of a genial fire And the blessed comfort…
We interrupt your regularly scheduled Black and White programming to bring a selection of photos from the Saint Louis Zoo. This particular animal is the lovely Amur Leopard. He is endangered and comes from Russia.I apologize for the break in posting. My laptop crashed heavily and is still unfixed. I’ll be posting from my home computer. Life has also been somewhat busy, but things are returning to normal.

I’m not very good at introductions. I beg of you to bear with me and read on long enough to catch my meaning. What I’m writing here is important to me, because it reflects an internal struggle I face. I hate laziness (though not enough apparently to slap him in the face).Laziness, by virtue of the fact that it hinders your ability to accomplish anything of value, creates a problem that encourages you to continue to be lazy. Laziness is self perpetuating and feeds on you much like an addiction. Laziness robs you of the joy and satisfaction you normally…
