Few things are as beautiful or made to suit cold and grey weather like the runes and designs of the Celts. Always did love the particular asthetic of the Celtic Cross and the Endless Knot.
The color version of this image is warmer, but I find I like both images equally well. Neither one is the same, and each show a different side.

Saint Louis has a great wealth of architecture, and its hidden all about the city. This is one example of a public school with a fantastic front door. :)

I love this photo. I like the color version even better. But the way the cross stands out against the clouds, the Gothic architecture, it all gives the impression of some major event about to occur.

You don’t see that kind of sinage anymore. At some point, I should look up the historical significance of this building.

This is a composite of four images, taken at night of the Saint Louis Art Museum from the bottom of the Grand Basin. The exposures were about 20 seconds long and I used an aperture of about f/11 or f/8 for maximum sharpness and depth of field. The Art Museum was…
Another view of the Mythological Ram’s Head at the base of the Civil Courts Building. I have several more of him, then we’ll switch to something else. :)Update: People have asked how I got the sky so dark. I did two things, the first was to increase the saturation of…
