I have been writing on the web since 2000. I am a christian , a photographer, an occasional poet, a recovering dreamer, an occasional philosopher, a software developer, an autodidact, and I resemble the INFP personality type.

A Link in Time Saves Nine… Apple Blossoms are so beautiful. There is something deliciously rich about the color of this photograph. Along with Food4Eyes, Chromogenic.net has been scoring big lately. I love these photos., oh and don’t forget this one.

On Missing the Point I was sent a link to an article this morning by my roommate Jon, who cautioned me to not read it if I was already in a bad mood. The obvious implication aroused my curiosity, and with a guarded mindset I clicked on the link. The article, written by Andrea Lewis who is a San Francisco writer, is titled A ‘Return’ of the White Patriarchy?, and is a critique of the supposedly antiquated and intolerant ideologies of yesteryear in recent film trilogy of The Lord of the Rings written by J.R.R. Tolkien and translated to film…

Daily Digest The Iraqi threat is nothing new…, at one time a democratic President spoke the same language as Bush. Whats a Polymath? This makes me feel happy. :)

Chain Link Fence Why Haven’t I Heard of this Man? The origens of Tux! How to give good presentations… this works for sermons too.

Lots ‘O Linky Fun Juli Loesch Wiley speaks of fertility and being whole, and how contraception violates God’s plan. How to deal with problems, UNIX style.. Sleepcity, very cool photos of Australia.

Former PLO terrorist speaks of the truth of Islam. Aparently, it really isn’t a peaceful religion like they want us to believe.

Of Note: Canon has announced it’s newest high end DSLR, the EOS 1D Mark II, with an 8mp CMOS sensor, larger buffer for a 8.5 fps up to 40 frames shooting rate, as well as a number of other enhancements. Prices look to be about $4000 or so. Accompanying this outstanding announcement are two new lenses. In other news… this photo both intrigues me and makes me laugh.

Daily Links Really cool chalk art drawn with 3d perspective. Great snow covered beaches from Top Left Pixel.

My brothers blog is not gone… its has simply moved… to jeremy.marzhillstudios.com.

Take a deep breath And smile a winsome smile For the moon whose silver light Lets fall upon the sylvan world Will watch with patient guard With angels whose charge Is given thee to keep The winsome smile Fresh upon your face

My first free verse. Feels like I’m cheating. I like it though, and I’m not sure it would have the same effect if put in rhyme. Next thing you know, I’ll be eating my own words… Winsome Smile take a deep breath and smile a winsome smile for the moon whose silver light lets fall upon the sylvan world will watch with patient guard with angels whose charge is given thee to keep the winsome smile fresh upon your face

link o rama Alex Arnold of has written a post on post modernism which was followed up by part two and part three. The post isn’t comprehensive, but finding the term post modernism entirely to vague I found the post interesting. (hattip: bropwn pau) Food For Eyes posted a gorgeous photo of dusk today. Chromogenic.net also posted a great photo of the gritty city like genre. Top Left Pixel followed up with a great black and white scene of a snow covered park at night. In other news some guy at MIT is conducting a blog survey. One of our…

I was deeply moved when I saw this photo essay , Agent Orange: Collateral Damage in Veitnam. The photos are graphic, and the subject trajic.

Wanting to move, I find myself seized with indecision Having a desire to respond, yet holding back I know not what my Lord wills in this situation And time marches on, heedless Deep wants, the secret dreams, held close and dear Grasping the insistent hope, while waiting For the fog between now and the future to clear As time marches on, heedless The silence is His answer, and I am contented All things in time, the patient virtue tells With hope and faith my dreams in Him invested While time marches on, with purpose
