I have been writing on the web since 2000. I am a christian , a photographer, an occasional poet, a recovering dreamer, an occasional philosopher, a software developer, an autodidact, and I resemble the INFP personality type.

This weekend I went to a youth conference, and heard Dr. David Gibbs, a lawyer with the The Christian Law Association. The conference was fantastic, and I’ll post more about it tomorrow. For those who would like to know where I got my derby, a little hat store on the Delmar Loop called Hats N Stuff sells them. The address is 6604 Delmar Blvd, St Louis, MO 63130, Phone: (314)727-5255. Map to the store.

I recently bought a derby, for a photo project I am working on. Look for it to be showcased on Chasing Hats in november. It’s a fun hat, so I wore it to work a couple days ago. It was the source of a bit of fun and some amusement, and Joe took a photo of it for me. So here it is…

Apparently, some irresponsible news organization leaked information about the sniper shootings in Maryland, and now Chief Moose is justifiably angry about it. So what is it about the media that makes them think they have no personal responsibility to respect the wishes of law enforcement? Have we become so concerned with ourselves and our bottom line that we don’t care about the consequences of our actions?

On the difference between poetry and prose I have often wondered. The esteemed Sir Arthur Quiller-Couch has, in my opinion, deftly declared the gap that seperates the two forms of writing. The fascination is in the reading, and to that I leave you herewith.

New Photos, the August 2002 Photo Essay set. I know, I know… they’re late. *hangs head in shame*

Round and round the merry go spin Laughing and playing waiting for when The sun sets in yonder tree laden wood And darkness descends like a red velvet hood

My new poem,A Sunshine Life, inspired by Dawn from a.lifeuncommon.org. Thanks Dawn. :)

Why must this life seem so unfair? With work and jobs and things that dare To take away the things that matter Like friends and cake and late night chatter Life would be a whole lot better If we enjoyed the pitter patter Of little feet on birthday days And the warm glow of sunshines rays

Redeeming the Time: Ephesians 5:15-19 How do we use our time? Note: If I am going to live my life for the Lord, I must give Him my time, for time is life, measured in minutes, and hours and days. 1. We must walk circumspectly (english def., greek def.). Walking through life, taking care to be cautious and aware of circumstances. Being exact, not wasting our time, or spending it unwisely. Where are our priorities? Are we giving time to the things that are important, like spending time with God in scripture and prayer? 2. We must understand the will…

New poem… its a sad day when a female cries it breaks your heart and reddens the eyes and all you want is to soothe the pain to ease the hurt and remove the stain left by her precious tears
