Its true, I suppose, that cities never sleep. Always, their busy denizens run from place to place. There is rarely ever silence, nor ever a quiet moment. It is ceaseless, with its malls and bookstores, its banks and office buildings. There is life in the city, yet darkness too. The city, with its constant progress and innovation, for all its city lights and sleepless nights, is slowly dying. You can see it in the eyes of those people you meet each day. There is an emptiness and a constant running. They run because they have nothing else they can do,…

My friends… www.Google.com has come up with a really cool idea. It’s a google news search, and it allows you to search news sites for specific words. Check it out…
Ok… question for all you web people out there… I’m designing a user registration form, and i’d like input on the most irritating or usefull aspects of filling out a registration form online. Please send your thoughts to [email protected] or use the contact form. Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks.
I was on my brothers site and he pointed to this cool quiz you can take to see how good you are at spotting the real thing.
Here’s a new and interesting site to keep you busy for a while… www.newsoftheweird.com
A week ago, we had a baby shower at church for a couple families. One of the activities was to write a poem, like that time at pizza hut, using the words given. So I composed another Haiku. Here it is for your reading pleasure… Smiling the kids play Read, walk, run, enjoy the day This is family

Whoever these guys are, they have way to much time on their hands… :).
How true is this. Jeffery Zeldman, from A List Apart discusses the dangers of the lack of distinction between Style and Design. Mostly he decries the lack of effort on the part of the web design community to focus on hard core usability and design. Instead, they spend time emulating the style of really successful designers, focusing on cool, but limited in usefullness, technologies like flash that only work in the best browsers on the fastest machines. It’s really all about content, and usability for the majority of web users who spend most of their time reading text and looking…
What is it about the quiet of an evening in spring? Cool air on gentle breeze, the grass green beneath my feet. In the distance, the sound of a flag blowing in the wind. In all stillness, the world breathes a sigh of relief, as winter warms and prepares to flee the brightness of the sun. And tonight, my heart cries out with joy at the coming of Spring.
For some reason, this bothers me. I think a good reason why is illustrated here Etymology of the word “church”: Middle English “chirche”, from Old English “cirice”, ultimately from Late Greek “kyriakon”, from Greek, neuter of “kyriakos”: of the lord, from kyrios lord, master. This is very interesting. According to one dictionary’s etymology of the English word “church”, it originated from a Greek word meaning “of the Lord”. The Greek word ekklesia, which is translated church, is a combination of the Greek word kaleo (which means to call) and ek, a preposition meaning out or out of. Therefore, ekklesia is…
Israel, in light of further terrorist aggression, has decided that stepping down the offensive would be unwise, and has decided to continue. I can’t say that I blame them. I just wish Bush would either, keep America out of it completely, or do the right thing, and support Sharon. Just my humble opinion… if you have another, let me know.
Last night i got on aim with a bunch from deadyetliving.com, and let me tell you, it was a trip. At one point there were 12 people in the chat room, all talking at once. Most humorous, and very enjoyable. If you have time, you might surf on over to any one of their weblogs… Decablog, Exegetica.com
I’ve been doing some thinking lately, about the contention between Israel and Palestine. I have come to some conclusions, with an understanding that many of the facts and truths of the situation remain hidden. The event that brought my conclusion to the front of my mind is the insistence by President Bush that Israel withdraw immediately from the offensive it launched 10 days ago. This bothers me somewhat, because, in light of September 11, Bush has no moral ground to ask that of Israel. Now, there may be circumstances I’m not aware of that change the situation, but if what…
Then there is the Nikon D100 It’s very nice, and has the added advantage of being able to change the lenses. 6.1 megapixel resolution puts it up there with the Kodak DCS 760. Ohh for the money to buy one of these…
This one is also very nice. The Canon EOS-1D is top of the line, but i don’t think it’s quite as good as Kodak.
I think i’m in love… just look at this camera. The KODAK PROFESSIONAL DCS 760 Digital Camera is perhaps the coolest digital camera i’ve ever encountered. If you have a differing opinion, and know of a better one.. Let me know
It’s a beautiful sunday mornin, and i will be visiting with friends today. You might ask why? Well, my car is again experiencing technical difficulties. :( I think the alternator went. It all a result of the powersteering pump leaking fluid. That’s why my serpintine belt snapped. I’m begining to wonder If God is allowing me to be tested… kinda like Job. Perhaps the Enemey is trying to deter me from my trip to Uganda. Perhaps it’s both… all i can say is,
This is too much fun… it’s an automatic Artist Statement generator… this is what it said about me. Work of Sub-Art in the Age of Symbiotic Reproduction The matrix creates, the body accentuates. In the synaptic reality, art objects are resurrections of the musings of the matrix — a matrix that uses the body as an organism to enmesh ideas, patterns, and emotions. With the synergy of the electronic environment, the matrix is superseding a point where it will be free from the body to transcend immersions into the machinations of the delphic reality. Work of Sub-Art in the Age…
Ok… here is the thing. God is teaching me character. My car is again in non working order. My serpintine belt snapped yesterday. It will cost 300 dollars or so to fix, because it involves replacing my powersteering pump seal. Here’s the thing… i’m begining to wonder if my car is going to be a constant drain. I feel like it is never fixed. I’m gonna become gun shy here in a little while. I could try doing the work myself, and save about 100$, but it would take me three extra days and cause a certian amount of inconvenience…
