My new poem,A Sunshine Life, inspired by Dawn from a.lifeuncommon.org. Thanks Dawn. :)

Redeeming the Time: Ephesians 5:15-19 How do we use our time? Note: If I am going to live my life for the Lord, I must give Him my time, for time is life, measured in minutes, and hours and days. 1. We must walk circumspectly (english def., greek def.). Walking through life, taking care to be cautious and aware of circumstances. Being exact, not wasting our time, or spending it unwisely. Where are our priorities? Are we giving time to the things that are important, like spending time with God in scripture and prayer? 2. We must understand the will…

New poem… its a sad day when a female cries it breaks your heart and reddens the eyes and all you want is to soothe the pain to ease the hurt and remove the stain left by her precious tears

I have a prayer request from our missionaries on the Ugandan front. Just an hour northwest of Soroti Uganda, where Dr. Guimon and three other missionary families minister, in the town of Lira, the LRA burned many homes and abducted a number of civilians. President Museveni has ordered the mobile police Patrol Unit to handle the situation. The conflict with the LRA has been going on for some time, but up to this point hasn’t come so close to where our missionaries are. Pray for their safety and continued work there in Uganda, and also for President Museveni and the…

Today is my bornagain day… 18 years ago, sometime in the afternoon, myself and my older brother were saved. Happy Bornagain day Jeremy.

Jerry Falwell has some new neighbors, and he, imho, is handling them in a rather mature way. It isn’t too often that you see a major news organization print stories with the words ‘fundamentalist’, ‘kind’, ‘considerate’ and such in the same sentence in relation to each other. Jerry Falwell is right, homosexuality isn’t any worse than any other sin. God’s forgiveness know no boundries… (link via Sarah)

The Seafarer I stood beside the deep blue sea and heard the errant sea gull cry It was then my heart did sigh and yearn for foreign lands afar I watched as clouds hung over head Crowding close to darkening sky It was then I did ascry the ship that sailed round rocky cliff I cried aloud from sandy shore and waived my hands to bring it nigh It was then that I did vie for berth upon that roaming ship I sailed that ship around the world through many journey and lands gone by It was the life I…

Notes on the messages given today in church… The coming of Jesus Christ could be today. We have so little time, and so many people need to be reached, yet we sit idle. Is it God’s mandate for the local church to go out and evangelize the world? If it is, then we need to go after it with our whole heart. Note that what you sow you reap, that you reap more than you sow, that you reap in proportion to what you sow, and that you reap after you sow. There are all kinds of soil, and they…

This morning I woke early and ran to a lake about 2 miles from my parents home. This is what happened: The Rising Sun See the rising sun today peaking oer yon horizon I ran towards it eagerly to say hello and greet him All around me myst did lie above the trees did hover hiding many treasured things beneath the soft gray cover Then the sun did greet the myst in his bright crimson fashion and the myst did run away before his glorious shining Farewell said I to the myst I’ll see thee on the morrow now I…

The Weekend Say hello to this weeks end A time to rest and breathe When all the world heaves a sigh And puts it self at ease The night lights up in color Bright in social flair People go and celebrate Out in the open air Tis weeks end and time To rest in comely solace That best enables thee To face tomorrows morass

Thanks to Jenn who inspired me with this comment. An Evening Lark outside my glistning window while the evening darkens i seek a peaceful slumber and my glad soul hearkens to the sounds of an evening lark

In response to thanks for questions answered… In humble thanks I welcome thee Oh sprite who haunts The depths of me When time warrants Questions cunning Feel free to ask They’ll be forth coming In Poetry Spoken,

Do you remember Zelda? Well, for all you fans out there, a good friend of mine, Scott Lampley, has produced a version of the music from the game and has provided it for us to enjoy. Get the music here.

This person who writes in regards to Mel Gibsons desire to make a movie about Christ irritates me. Mel Gibson, a devout Catholic, is one of my favorite actors, and I hope that he will portray Christ in a manner befitting a Man who was God on earth. I’m rather curious to see the result, and Gibson’s reputation in my mind in on the line. But back to my original point, which is Dr. Ravitch’s complaint that Christians have no foundation for thier beliefs historically, that there is no first hand historical basis for Jesus, and that we are, at…
