Former PLO terrorist speaks of the truth of Islam. Aparently, it really isn’t a peaceful religion like they want us to believe.

Of Note: Canon has announced it’s newest high end DSLR, the EOS 1D Mark II, with an 8mp CMOS sensor, larger buffer for a 8.5 fps up to 40 frames shooting rate, as well as a number of other enhancements. Prices look to be about $4000 or so. Accompanying this outstanding announcement are two new lenses. In other news… this photo both intrigues me and makes me laugh.

My first free verse. Feels like I’m cheating. I like it though, and I’m not sure it would have the same effect if put in rhyme. Next thing you know, I’ll be eating my own words… Winsome Smile take a deep breath and smile a winsome smile for the moon whose silver light lets fall upon the sylvan world will watch with patient guard with angels whose charge is given thee to keep the winsome smile fresh upon your face

link o rama Alex Arnold of has written a post on post modernism which was followed up by part two and part three. The post isn’t comprehensive, but finding the term post modernism entirely to vague I found the post interesting. (hattip: bropwn pau) Food For Eyes posted a gorgeous photo of dusk today. Chromogenic.net also posted a great photo of the gritty city like genre. Top Left Pixel followed up with a great black and white scene of a snow covered park at night. In other news some guy at MIT is conducting a blog survey. One of our…

I’m at a loss. Can you suggest a title for this verse? Wanting to move, I find myself siezed with indecision Having a desire to respond, yet holding back I know not what my Lord wills in this situation And time marches on, heedless Deep wants, the secret dreams, held close and dear Grasping the insistant hope, while waiting For the fog between now and the future to clear As time marches on, heedless The silence is His answer, and I am contented All things in time, the patient virtue tells With hope, and Faith my dreams in Him invested…

What amazes me about LOTR Barbies is that the Arwen barbie looks a good deal more like the Arwen I pictured when reading the books. Who would a thunk it?

The American Family Association is conducting a poll on homosexual marriage. Go vote.

I’m not sure weather to be happy or offended by this article on how fundamental christian groups are working in foreign countries. Apparently we use all sorts of insideous tactics like humnitarian aid, education, and medical help to further our prosylitization program. There was one quote in particular that gave me pause. I was reminded of the early objections of the Roman Empire against Christianity. The writer of the article said, What is objectionable in this fundamentalist campaign is not its desire to gain adherents, but in its determination to totally alienate their converts from all their traditions and all…

In the past two years, my interests in photography have segregated themselves into two camps. I like the idea of the single and evocative print, but my real interest of late has been in the area of documentary types of photography. To take an idea and develop it through a series or an essay seems to hold more value than the simple ascthetic. It carries a much deeper weight or meaning, or at least the potential for it. I have resolved to do a few things for 2004. Those resolutions that affect those who visit walljm.com I list here for…

And one more thing… My younger brother (Read) is in need of approximately $500 in order to go back to school this semester. If you would pray for him, we would greatly appreciate it. Thanks
